I am officially in love with Mixcloud. I don't know how they do it, but they consistently have great eclectic mixes from a brilliant variety of DJs and genres.

Izotope OzoneMP, makes yer music sound purty

I can't believe I've waited a month after updating to Windows 7 to reinstall Izotope OzoneMP. This little DSP plugin for Winamp just makes .mp3s sound so much better it's uncanny.

I actualy use Foobar2000 as my sound player of choice, but there is a third party plugin that bridges with winamp and allows you to use winamp plugins within FB2K.

Eargasms all round, listening to the new DJ Fresh album Kryptonite, yum!

The Hidden Orchestra

Just came across The hidden orchestra (previously called the Joe Acheson quartet) via Mixcloud. Very excellent lowfi orchestral music. To quote them:

Formerly known as Joe Acheson Quartet, Hidden Orchestra combine two live drummers and deep basslines with strong jazz and classical influences, to make cinematic, emotive, percussive, next generation music using traditional instrumentation and organic samples. The band may occupy a musical stratum all on their own, but you can detect influences as diverse as Aphex Twin, Debussy, Xploding Plastix, Radiohead, Squarepusher, Madlib and Gene Krupa.
