Well I’ve decided to start using my website again. It seems kind of pointless to have this place and not do anything with it. Unfortunately I had to leave my old host as they were terrible, this is a note for you hostcolor, uptime is a necessity not a luxury.

My sister Jessa has a professional photography website journalling her excellent work. It’s important for her to be able to access her work and email when and how she needs. Hostcolor had frequent outages that resulted in her having to call me, and me feeling very embaressed.

Now I have switched to a company uniquely name A Small Orange. Their prices are reasonable and so far I’ve had no problems with their service. Time will tell.

In my experience trying find reliable hosting is like trying to find an honest quack, it’s complete pot-luck. It’s hard to trust any reviews site because they are all circle-jerks of webhost companies scratching each others backs. One place I found it easier to get an honest opinion was ask.metafilter.com. An excellent community of people ready to answer your questions. There is a one time fee for joining metafilter, but in my experience it’s well worth it.

The Pain

Currently I am suffering from abomnible pain in my right calf muscle. Sciatica is a bitch, and even though my back is better, my leg hurts like someone has stuck a fucking needle in it. Ugh! Does anyone know a way to work this pain out of my muscle, because it’s not something I want to have to deal with the rest of my life.
